One of my favorite engagement sessions took place last October. I have shot before in the Crossroads Arts District, but this time, we explored alleys I’ve never gone down before and these two were crazy. Jacky was a good balance of glam meets edgy. And Derek was one smitten guy, darn adorable himself. These two, hands down, make for an incredibly attractive couple. But they’re not just looks. They have personalities that totally inspired me from beginning to end. They were game for anything…they were goofballs…sassy….flirtatious…and playful…….and totally showing their love for Kansas City by rocking their surroundings. The last pic–the owners of the building came out and told us that the mural was BRAND new…and we were the first to take pictures in front of it. Score!!!
