I’ve never seen the temps go as high as they did for a wedding day until Dana & Sam got married in the heat wave that was July. Oddly though, because it was so hot–well above 100 degrees!–we all noted that we weren’t sweating as much as we’d thought we would be… all because the moisture in the air was more than baked.
WEll, Dana and Sam are yet another example that young love can survive and thrive! They met during a youth group lock-in and got along right away. But before Dana set off for college, she asked Sam to the senior prom, though he was only 16 at the time. (Go, Sam!!) Dana knew then and there that she wanted to date him, but didn’t expect things to get serious. But they did!
And their friends will back up the claim that these two are TRULY good people. From helping out the elderly or those who need a little money, to choosing career paths that serve to improve the lives of others, Dana & Sam are as likable as they come.
The wonderful Ali Gripp accompanied me for this wedding. She and I were both moved by how genuine and fun everyone we met were that day. I laughed so hard several times throughout the day–there were inside jokes, witty bridal party members and the funniest Best Man’s speech I’ve ever heard.
