One of my favorite families from last year returned this spring for more photos! I adore this family.
Finn, who is now 3, is one of THE most challenging subjects I’ve ever photographed. (This age is very difficult if the kids are remotely high-energy…) He is ornery. He is rambunctious. He is hilarious!!!! And he is worth the extra effort. We were lucky to get him in the frames when we did!
Here are two images that show what we were dealing with…on the left…he had been hiding behind their legs until the last minute, he’d run out like a lil’ gremlin and then he’d disappear again just as fast. The one on the right, he was in his own world of playing with dirt, and he was not too keen on the idea of sitting down for a relaxing photo with his family. This was a common trend that evening.
Parker, on the other hand, was so easy to work with–so completely cooperative and just as cute! I give him major high fives for going easy on me. 😉
As darling families go… we stuck with it and I am loving the way these came out! (Mollie, I’ve said it before and I will say it again, if I can have an iota of the style you have when I myself am a mother with my hands full, I will be SO HAPPY!!)
(btw, Finn also has a “thing” for cleaning objects…so he started with the sign.
