Kansas City engagement photography: Shannon & Brad BRING IT to the West Bottoms…

My good friend Paige bailed on the midwest shortly after I got married. Paige had been such a foundation for me when I first started the business–was one of the first weddings I ever shot . I miss her lots…but was delighted to learn that her younger sister Shannon was getting married this coming October…and she and her fiance Brad wanted to use the same photographer Paige & Joel used…ME! Woot!

We had their engagement session two weekends ago. It was one of the few nice springy nights we’ve had…perfect timing. I’ve always wanted to shoot in the West Bottoms here in Kansas City… and since Shannon & Brad were coming from Jefferson City for the occasion, they put their trust in me to choose the location. They were so much fun since they were game for everything.

And now, kids…we shall begin.
Oh! How could I forget..this lovely spring evening was also VERY VERY VERY windy. I say, embrace it!! And that they did.

“We are but just tiny creatures in a giant world…” (ok, that isn’t a quote…well, it is..but I am the one who said it. Just now.)
